2009 IN FILM

Because I've delayed this list for the longest time and because it's virtually impossible to stuff all the remaining films to see in one day. Anyway, this list might change as I painstakingly go through the unwatched heap. (At na-inspire akong mag-layout dahil madali lang pa lang pagandahin ng konti using a photo application.)

Yey for A Serious Man! It's one of my favorites for 2009. Bakit kasama yung Fish Tank sa list? Hehe, just kidding

Ha ha ha. I remember you hated that. I dunno. There's a beauty to it I can't explain. This list has been so delayed. but what the heck. i might change it some time if i managed to see more from this year.

nice, we have a lot of films in common. pero bat nandyan ang where the wild things are? loljk.

(on second thought, may mas late pa pala sa kin gumawa ng list haha)

ha ha ha. super late nga. but i promise to myself for the 2010 list by June, dapat maka-post na ako. I haven't seen much kasi. I actually downloaded Tokyo Sonata when I saw it on your list and for Accident, luckily may nakita akong pirated.

on wild things, I don't know, it seems to break my heart a little. a little lang naman kaya wala sa top 10 he he he.

ganda ng Accident no? asian movies really have that knack for cutthroat precision. by any chance, you saw "in the loop"?

Yeah, I was like... yeah! lol. Nakalimutan ko ata ang In The Loop. Grabeh tawa ko pa naman sa In The Loop. Shucks, I forgot In The Loop!

how could you! it's one of my favorites. i was laughing from start to finish, snot's coming out of my nose. TMI waha. but really, in the loop's deliciously funny. tks is just only on-the-surface-funny lol.

Choose life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family, Choose a f—king big television. Choose washing machines, cars, compact disc players, and electrical tin openers. Choose good health, low cholesterol and dental insurance. Choose fixed-interest mortgage repayments. Choose a starter home. Choose your friends. Choose a three piece suit on hire purchased in a range of f—king fabrics. Choose DIY and wondering who the f—k you are on a Sunday morning. Choose sitting on that couch watching mind-numbing, spirit-crushing game shows, stuffing f—king junk food into your mouth. Choose rotting away at the end of it all, pishing your last in a miserable home, nothing more than an embarrassment to the selfish, f—ked-up brats you have spawned to replace yourself. Choose a future. Choose life . . . But why would I want to do a thing like that? I chose not to choose life. I chose somethin’ else. And the reasons? There are no reasons. Who needs reasons when you’ve got heroin?
